Location
Matt hails from Cincinnati, Ohio. He got a BA in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at the College of Wooster, and earned a PhD in Biology at Northwestern University under Neil Kelleher. Matt is interested in exploring the ways that human-associated microbes influence health and disease, and studying how these interactions evolve.
In his free time he nerds out about robots, languages (both real and constructed), and maps.
